Brown meat until its crumbly. $1.50 store sells these cool gadgets that break up the meat easily.
Add seasoning mix and 2 1/4 cup water, or if you're feeling fancy, a can of diced tomatoes.
Cook for 5 minutes.
Spread bacon grease on each side of 6 corn tortillas,. Actually what you really do is do one side and then stack them on top of each other. So the first tortilla gets both sides, you drop a fresh tortilla on that, grease the top, repeat 4 more times before you clamshell it with 2 plates. Microwave for 66 seconds (11s per taco for my microwave)
Line the air fryer drawer with a liner, and put the rack inside it.
With tongs take the tortillas out 2 at a time and line them up in the air fryer.
Put meat in each taco, add some pico de Gallo (I buy this pre-made easier than buying tomatoes, onions, pepper, etc.), lay half slice of cheese on top, cook in air fryer at 400 for 3 minutes (no need to preheat). Put the extra meat in a plastic storage container. From now on, 3 delicious tacos in 5 minutes whenever you want, just go back to the "Spread bacon grease on tortillas step".
Fancy upgrade: buy avocados, look purposefully for the hard ones and leave them in the paper back in a basket on the counter ($1.50 store). Use an avocodo tool ($1.50 store) to cut the avocado in 1/2, make a row of perfect slices, sprinkle salt and pepper on them, layer the avocado into the taco after it comes out of the air fryer while they're still in the racks. You can buy bananas and put them in the bag if you like bananas and they'll ripen faster. Transfer the avocados to the fridge after they're ripe in 2-3 days.
Equipment needed: Taco racks. (You can technically do it by laying the tacos flat and then flipping them.)
Air Fryer: (you can probably do this in a regular oven or a new fangled toaster oven, but you're on your own with timing)
Tongs : $1.50 store
Avocado Tool: $1.50 store
Variations: A few frozen chicken breasts, $1.50 store chicken broth, and some green salsa verde, soup button on instant pot for chicken tacos. Chop/shred when it's done. Same thing other wise, just chicken tacos.
